Commercial Finance Director

The Consultancy Group have partnered with a Global Media Agency who are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Director to lead their UK Finance Business Partnering and Analyst team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will operate as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and will drive commercial decision-making, client profitability financial insight. Six Figure BaseDuties include:

• Ownership of client portfolio accounts, ensuring robust financial management, governance, and oversight

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financials across revenue recognition, costs, margins, and working capital

• Provide insight on revenue forecasting, growth strategies, portfolio profitability and acting as a senior advisor to MDs across the business

• Partnering with new business to ensure a clear and robust pipeline

• Lead and develop the finance business partnering and analysis team and upskilling to deliver proactive financial support

• Proactively identify risks and opportunities within portfolios and drive corrective actions.

• Ensure consistent understanding of profitability drivers across the business.

• Lead budgeting and reforecasting processes, delivering clear and timely insights to the CFO and CEO.

• Build strong, trusted relationships with Managing Directors and senior stakeholders across the agency.

The successful candidate must come with significant post-qualified finance leadership experience gained within a Media Agency environment (this is a pre-requisite) and have the proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. They will possess excellent commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and be able to translate complex financial information into actionable insight.
