Management Accountant

The Consultancy Group are currently partnered with a Media Entrainment business who are looking to recruit a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their office in South West London

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly reports and financial statements for various activities
• Handling journals, prepayments, and accruals in the accounting system
• Conducting variance analysis and providing written commentaries on actuals versus forecasts monthly
• Reconciling balance sheets, ensuring thorough understanding, explanation, and documentation of all balances
• Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance processes in management accounts and the broader finance department
• Assisting in the automation of dashboards and reporting using the accounting software
• Contributing to cost control procedures and ensuring systems are in place for business managers to access spending reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Supporting budgeting and reforecasting efforts
• Addressing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as needed
• Assisting the finance team during the annual audit process, including gathering information and responding to queries and requests

Main requirement:

• Driven candidate part through their ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent essential
• Previous experience within events/media industry preferrable
• Previous experience with multiple entities preferable
• Solid excel skills, knowledge of pivot tables and Vlookups
• Experience with Sage Intact an advantage
