Purpose of the Role:
We are currently partnered with a Media business based in central London.
This dynamic and forward-thinking organization is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team supporting the Financial Accountant and Financial Controller by administering and reconciling key accounting functions.
- Management of Employee Expenses: Handle Amex, Business Travel Account, and Concur processes related to employee expenses.
- Invoice Processing: Manage invoices for distributor deductions.
- Digital Revenue Accounting: Responsible for digital revenue accounting and maintaining accurate records.
- Banking and Cash Reconciliation: Post entries to the bank’s General Ledger and reconcile cash transactions.
- Marketing and Plant Cost Accrual Accounting: Administer accrual accounting for marketing and plant costs.
- Monthly Accrual Postings: Process monthly accrual postings.
- Accounting for Stock Receipts: Manage the accounting for stock receipts.
- Accounts Payable Support: Assist the Accounts Payable function when needed.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform various other balance sheet reconciliations.
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Payment Allocations: Allocate payments in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in financial or accounting roles.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
