Finance Analyst & Business Partner

The Consultancy Group is currently partnered with a dynamic and rapidly growing Business Services company seeking an experienced Finance Analyst / Finance Business Partner to join the team based in Hertfordshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, contributing to the strategic financial decisions of the organization.  This is an exciting role which offers significant senior stakeholder and global VP exposure, and as such offers plenty of scope for career progression. The ideal candidate will be confident enough to challenge the Global VP and push back when they feel it is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Review / support negotiated global contract financials and pricing revision clauses.
  • Challenge decisions and provide constructive financial advice to key stakeholders.
  • Drive efficiency and process improvements within the finance function.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in finance analysis and business partnering roles.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in reporting tools, with a preference for Power BI experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to challenge decisions and present alternative solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the food & beverage sector.
