Finance Analyst

The Consultancy Group is currently partnered with a dynamic and renowned retail company who are seeking a skilled Finance Analyst who is passionate about numbers and possesses a commitment to excellence to join the business. This role is based in Central London and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the company’s financial success.

As a Finance Analyst, the successful candidate will join the Finance team in Central London and play a vital role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to provide valuable insights that will influence strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making processes.
• Preparing financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Monitoring key financial metrics and analysing variances to ensure financial targets are met.
• Collaborating with various departments to gather and analyse financial data.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
• Assisting in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Degree qualified – finance or accountancy related preferred but not essential.
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or studier.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within the retail sector.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software tools.
• Being detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
